Goals for the Month

There are so many goals that I have yet I have no motivation to achieve them, but I am finally getting on myself to start June 1st.
1. Drink less soda, 3 sodas a week.
-I am a soda addict. I don't eat a lot of sweets and I eat a ton of vegetables; however, soda is my true weakness. Time to drink more water.
2. Work out at least 4 times a week.-I am not trying to lose weight, but I'm trying to get fit. I never gained the "freshman 15" like my step dad thought I would, but I definitely am out of shape. I want to try hot yoga, more running and I want to start swimming again.

Camelback Mountain in Arizona. I want to climb it again, so I can't be out of shape!

3. Study for my LSAT
-I've started I just have to keep going...

I have a few more, but those are my top three. Let's hope I can keep it up.

Oh and I forgot to mention in my last post because I was way too into the Suns game, but YAY to my new followers! I'm so happy to have you guys!

Sorry for the Slacking

I'm already slacking on my posts. I'm so sorry. It has been a busy week and a half for me. My boyfriend finally came after he finished his finals. So the boy and I just spent some time together on the beach and just hanging out. He had his first "crabbing" experience, but I do not have any pictures to share. He left yesterday though to go back to Arizona and I miss him dearly already. It begins our long distance relationship for this summer. Countdown until I go to Arizona: 66 days

Beach day!

I'm so happy that school is officially over. All of my grades are up. But if it wasn't for my Environmental Econ Class I would have made dean's list. I don't know if I mentioned it but I'm a History major and a Economics minor.

This week is going to slow down a bit and I'm just teaching swim lessons every night now. I love my classes Tuesday and Thursday. I get to teach these cute little babies along with their parents. My little baby sister is in the class too! I'm
also teaching kids around the neighborhood swim lessons, so I think its going to be a busy summer especially since I need to save up for my LSAT prep course next spring. Its going to be a whopping $1499. instead of buying new Tory Burch flats, I will be purchasing a beautiful TestMasters Course.

Now as for my Chocolate Velvet Pound Cake, it was FABULOUS
Here it is in all of its glory.

I have also baked Chocolate Carmel Cupcakes and a French Vanilla Cream Pound Cake!

I won't slack anymore on my postings and thanks for following me! I was extremely excited to see that I had some followers!!

First things First

So this is my first post that I've been wanting to make for a while. I'm finally done with all of my finals. I'm out really early compared to therest of my peers because I basically only had oh-so fun papers to write. So I guess first things first, what am I doing this summer...

Well the boy is coming after he finishes his finals. I'm so excited because we finally just get to relax, cook and lay out on the beach. This was taken right before school ended in Dupont.

The rest of my summer is going to be filled with teaching kids how to swim and hopefully working 1 day a week at an attorney's office.

Then mid-July I am going to Rodanthe, N.C. for a beach vacation, not that I do not get that everyday considering I live on the beach, but my step-dad is looking for a better place to surf. And then after I'm going to ARIZONA! I love it there and the people there. The boy is from there so I get to see his cute face!

Just the lazy days of summer; however, I am so excited for one thing and that is cooking.

I am determined to make this plum upside-down cake. My mom thinks its a bad idea, yet I think it looks delicious. She wants me to make this chocolate cake which I will post how it turns out tomorrow. I guess we'll see what happens!
