my little baby is growing up!

My little gets initiated today and will officially be my little SISTER. She has made me so proud these past few weeks and I am so excited for the new things coming up for her.

I got my paddle a few days ago and here it is!

Yes, she hand painted the Lilly "Pandamonium" print! It is perfect for me!

I just had to brag a little bit in this post because I'm so excited!! I'll post more later this week!

A little more than a month later

I think in the past few weeks I've barely had enough time just to breathe.
My time has been shoved back and forth between:
School
LSAT
AOII
Family
Boyfriend
Friends
School
School
and SCHOOL.
I had my 21st celebration which was a blast, even though there were some bumps along the way.
Halloween is almost here though!! Tonight I have a mixer with another sorority and then I will be carving pumpkins! And then for the big Halloween Celebration we will be going to a Nightmare on M street dressed as a Tooth Fairy and a little boy!

I'll be watching this tonight! :)

Online shopaholic

When I'm at school I do tons of online shopping because I do not bring my car with me. It's just more convenient that way, but sometimes leads to more costs with shipping and what not. That was until I became more smarter in how I shopped online. I started using my ebates account and let me just tell you its amazing! I'm getting money back for a lot of my online purchases. Majority of the sites I purchase from are on the ebates site and they give me some type of percentage back. They also have GREAT coupon codes for free shipping. I love it! Last weekend was so BUSY! It was recruitment weekend and I was a rho gamma. I loved my group and some of them went AOII. Now time to find my little.

So I just got tagged by If I Can't Wear Heels...I Don't Want to Go. in a Fun Friday Tag! I love Emily's blog  so you all should definitely read it!

1. What is your favorite item in your closet?

This is a hard question because I love all of my clothes right now. I think one piece that I always go to are my Jackie Oh III Ray-Bans. I feel like every time when I put them on it puts my outfit together. And I mean they are just so big and FABULOUS.

2. Are you superstitious?

I think I am in between. With some things I am very superstitious and then with other things it doesn't affect me. I would have to say is one thing that I am superstitious about are weddings. No, I am not married, but I am obsessed. You want your day to be perfect and you want the person who you are going to spend the rest of your life with to be amazing. My parents are divorced, so I think the wedding superstitious affect me a little bit more. And I will probably follow most of them to a T. I will wear that something blue and it will be blue shoes.  How fun are these?

3. Do you recycle?

Funny thing about that. One of my roommates gets on my constantly to recycle. So yes now I am more conscious and I recycle!

I do try and stray away from using plastic bags! 

4. What website do you visit daily?

I visit my Blogger Dashboard everyday. I love the blogs I follow and thank you to my followers!

5. Are you right-handed or left-handed?

RIGHTY!

6. What is a goal you would like to (or have) achieved this year?
I want to get a 170 on my LSAT. I guess thats a goal for next year, but majority of my studying will be this year. Cross your fingers!

7. Do you have any nicknames?


Yes, my nickname at home is Shipwreck (Shippy for short). When I first learned how to surf, the waves we breaking on shore and I crashed onto the beach. I looked like a shipwreck, hence forth my nickname.

8. What is your favorite season?


I love summer and the heat. I am excited for fall, especially all of the smells. I love the smell of apples, pumpkins and cinnamon.

My birthday, specifically my 21st birthday, is almost here! 27 days away! Don't worry I won't start a countdown yet. But I'm having a joint party with one of my good friends because her 21st is a couple weeks after. The more the merrier right? Well I'm trying to find a dress to wear during this celebration because you only turn 21 once!

Jcrew, Lilly Pulitzer, Bloomingdales (Michael Kors)

I'm really leaning towards the Lilly; however my boyfriend thinks it will look too baggy on me. I think I'm just going to disregard his opinion. And even though my 21st is not as formal or nice per-say, I still want to look FABULOUS!

All of these dresses depend on my money situation, which brings me to some exciting news! I finally got an interview to become a swim instructor at school! Ahhh and my interview is tomorrow! Keep your fingers crossed I really hope I get the position!

I wanted to also thank everyone for the awards recently, I haven't forgotten! School has been busy, Sorority recruitment is this weekend, and along with other things! I'm sorry!

First Day Of Class

Its the first day of class for me and I only have one class! Which is a pretty easy day, except I'm starting my LSAT study regime.

I wanted to start off the week with "What's in my Bag" for class. I would post my first day outfit, but I'm stuck wearing my recruitment counselor shirt. Don't worry I dressed it up enough so its not just a t-shirt :)

First is my bag! I love my Kate Spade Tote. I got it last year for Christmas and it has been perfect for my books.

So now for the exciting part...what's inside?

My glasses, pencil case, my go to writing utensils, keycard case, lilly planner, inhaler (I have mild asthma and its kind of acting up right now), hand sanitizer, my wonderful book for my history class and binder.
Besides my stunning Lilly Planner, I love the case that I got as a free gift from the lilly sale. I love that print and it won't fit my make-up; however, it fits my pencils!

And my keycard case. I cannot ever forget this! I have to swipe my ID to get into the building, several other doors and lastly my room. If I forgot it...well we won't go there. It also has a handy starbucks card, whistle for emergencies and my trusty flash drive.
